Using 2 stencils: I inked the stencil with the horizontal bars with shades of blue. I place the inked stencil...ink side UP and cleaned it with a BabyWipe on a piece of white CS. The color transferred to the "holes", leaving the faint bg design you see. The PTI sun/rays stencil was used in the traditional way......ink and sponge dauber.

What a great card for both challenges, and beach scenes are always some of my favorites.

Well, this is just amazing, Sallie! The way you used your stencil for the sun is so creative, and I just love the long, triangular scraps you've used to create the water. Outstanding scene!

Sallie this is an amazing beach scene, using stencils and dies. Thanks for sharing how you used the blue stencil, perfect sky/sea for your sunrays stencil. The addition of the die complete this peaceful, I wish I was there, scene.
