This week Audrie has us going to a Studio Calico pinterest page of scrapbook pages. There is a lot to choose from to make into a card. I chose this scrapbook page https://www.pinterest.com/pin/17732992256608573/ using the diamonds as my main design element.
All of the papers I used are scraps, some are what I have made. All have been edged with purple ink. The solid purple diamond is on dimensional adhesives.
As easy as this looks, it was difficult. My design isn't straight (typical for me). I left it and came back, wasn't getting anywhere at first.
Thanks for a good challenge, Audrie!

I certainly cannot see anything wrong with this lovely card! I love how you used the diamond pattern from your inspiration with the purple prints and patterns. The sprinkles are exceptionally pretty and work wonderfully with the gold embossed sentiment.

That page definitely jumped out at me too! I love your card in all the shades of purple. And I know exactly what you're talking about it looks easy but it's actually quite difficult. I could never get that pattern straight. You did a fantastic job with it!

Oh, I know this was not easy! I don't even try things like this as my eyes just don't see straight or something. Looks perfectly matched up and the colors are awesome. Super well done inspiration card. Hugz

Gorgeous colors on a gorgeous card! This card looks easy but take it from one that spent five hours making a hexagon card, it is not. Trying to get all the angles straight is maddening! You did a great job!
