To me, being near the sea reminds me of my childhood holidays in England on the south coast with my grandparents. My grandmother always brought her deckchair to the beach and watched us children while we made sandcastles. She always brought a bottle of lemon or orange squash for us to drink.
I stamped and watercoloured, trimmed the panel and popped it up on fun foam, and then added a trio of little starfish to the bottom corner of the cardbase.

A delightful summertime card, Susan. (That cool drink really appeals to me.) : ) A wonderful sunny beach scene and the three little starfish embellishment are the "cherry on top".

We had chairs just like that when I was growing up and my parents were known to lug to them to the beach - they weighed a ton! The sandcastle image is a great addition to a beach card! I love your scene, very nostalgic for me.
