So enjoyed making this LO. This is for another challenge and I've slightly modified it so I could have another play with mixed media.
Paste was squashed through a stencil and then inks and water sprayed...lots of dabbing and drying.
The photos have layers behind them, including some card I found in my rubbish bin to pop them up. I had watched a video where cotton is laid behind the photos and wanted to give it a go...so out came the doily and cotton and they were also pushed behind.
I'd forgotten to distress my papers before I stuck them down, but thank goodness for charcoal pencils and after some rubbing and using my paper stumps I still managed to get a slight distressed look.
The arrow and sentiment were cut out of a piece of black felt I had on my desk...I knew it would come in handy one day and I'm loving the texture and look on the page. The sentiment that is stamped didn't come out perfect on the bazzil textured paper....again thank goodness for black pens...phew!
Thanks for taking time to look at my LO. Happy weekend

Love all your details! The distressing the past/stencil, inks. Love your mixed media on your pages. When I do it it is just a mess! Lovely colors, papers and design. I recognize the sketch for Challenge #2.
Great job!

Thanks for your kind comments Sharon. I also make a mess when I do mixed media but I'm learning to take it easy with the inks. The papers were all from a pack and coordinated so it made life easier. Happy day

This is a lovely page, beautiful details and the paste is such an extra special touch. He is so hansom, I sure he has plenty of admiring girls after him!

Thanks ladies for your kind comments. Yes Joyce Ann he used to be very popular with the girls. The two girls in these photos were long term girlfriends of his, but he's been single for the past 3 years and just travels now. We wonder whether he may meet a girl on his travels in South America. Happy day
