DD7ABC19H: the Alphabet challenge is on the letter H. The double challenge was to involve a hat of some sort. I made the top hat shown here. I die cut an oval and cut a rectangular piece angling the sides a bit. I then slit the oval and inserted the rectangular piece creating my black top hat. My die cut oval was a little too big so I fussy cut it down a bit. I die cut the gold ring for the monocle as well as a piece of vellum for the middle of the monocle.
I made the plaid paper with lovely lilac and basic gray SU markers as well as a gold gel pen. Then it was simply a matter of assembling my distinguished gentleman. I popped the top note (made from my hoarded naturals CS) with dimensionals. My DDs loved this card and are excited to give it to my DH for Father's Day.
Thanks for looking!

Your home made bg paper is so perfect for the man in your life! I like the way he turned out with his top hat to the side and mustache so wonderfully shaped!
