This is a beautiful ring dish I made using ceramic clay and Heartfelt Creations stamps. I rolled out the B-mix stoneware clay, stamped it, cut it in a circle, put it in a dish to dry. It was then bisque fired to cone 05, dipped in iron oxide, painted with bright underglaze colors and then coated with clear glaze. It was fired to cone 5. It's only challenging because of the equipment needed. This can be made at a local "paint your own pottery shop". you can bring in your favorite stamps and stamp your designs on pottery that is already bisque fired. After you stamp it and paint it with their underglazes, they will dip it in clear and fire it for you! pick whatever piece of pottery you want- a bowl, a platter, a plate. Make it personal by using bisque ware instead of paper. Any questions? contact me on my blog: hydeparkhill.com
