Creative Cat Tip: So, hereÂ’s a funny story for the Pop of Pink & Designer tin of Cards Z fold card. First of all, when I create my sample items for the kits I design I will cut and gather all the items needed for each packet.
Usually I design 5 cards and/ or 3D obejects for the Live Sip & Stamp class as well as the ToGo version.
As a result this particular card was an embarrassing moment in the live classÂ… (HINT: make sure to cut your Zfold in the right direction when using a double sided paper, lolÂ…) While everything worked out fine in the end, it was funny! Because I cut the wrong angle, all my friends had the opposite color facing forward!
So, cutting angles aside, this is actually an easy card to create!
First, start with a paper cut at 5 1/2″ x 10 1/2″, then score the paper at 4″, then at 8″, this leaves 2 1/2″ for the front fold, cut the Z at an angle from the high point to about 3″ high on the short side, and then cut 2 pieces of whisper white cardstock at 5 1/4″ x 3 3/4″.
Although I do show how in the video tutorial, I really just eyeball the fit for this layer!
