Ok this card got its name Joyful because after doing well over 60 graduation cards and heard the teapot challenge was to make a flag it was such a Joyful breather to take a break to do something new and refreshing. Also a card for someone very special and deserving!!
This card also fits 3 challenges if I'm right and so I'd love to enter it. Starting with the ..
Tea potters - Make A Flag
Free For All - Look Mom No Stamps
Alpha - Letter J + Just Colors No Dies
Well this card don't have stamps or Dies for its colors or creation....nope not even the stars. The stars were hand torn in both blue and white CS embossed a star to the center of the white. I dry embossed both white and red CS... used the white for bkg and the red I cut Ms. Tootsies favorite ef design into strips. Then got inky with the edging all around the card with red, white, and blue and the Joy of taking a break to make this wonderfully relaxing card got its name Joyful so it's for my letter J for my Alpha entry.
My story and I'm sticking to it!! Lol

So wonderful to see this card! Even better in a closeup! Love the star, the stripes, aged edges, so very patriotic and so very cool, my friend. Nice work.

Wow - I liked it right away and then I was amazed at how many challenges you combined. Love the blue torn paper star! Clever idea to put an embossed star in the middle. The red strips are terrific and add to the flag theme. Love the red/blue sponging around the outside. I'm sure it was a joy to make after making 60+ graduation cards! Well done with Letter J and just ink. TFS

Victoria,
This is so beautiful!! The hand torn stars are fantastic and you did such a great job with the ink around them!! The stripes complement the stars nicely!!
