To say that Husband #1 is a 'golf fanatic' is an understatement! The only tool I ever see him with is a golf club! Apparently they come in handy for cleaning eaves troughs... knocking down spider webs and chasing the odd snake. Our yard is a no kill zone but I wish those darn snakes would stand up on their hind legs and shout..whoohooo..I am over here! (instead of sneaking up on you!) LOL Also if you find the odd wayward golf ball under the hedge ..well...give it a whack..problem solved! That is his story and he is sticking to it!!
I have had this stamp for a very long time. It is coloured with prisma pencils and OMS. I drew the bits of grass with my sharpie and used an old crackle stamp (also PSX) for the background. I punched the circle and put it through the swiss dot folder to make it look like a golf ball. I am sure I told a little fib...I think Mr Noofy does own a hammer!! LOL

What a brilliant idea to use the dotted embossing for a golf ball!!! Brilliant!

Not sure which I like more - your card or your back story! Thanks for the giggles. I luv the crackle surrounding the golf bag and the embossed gold ball is very creative.

I feel your pain, Sue....haha.....my DH is a retired banker. Every so often he'll use the phrase 'maybe I can rig something up for you' which just makes me laugh.....great with numbers though. Love your card!

...sure its got a catchy beat, but can you stamp to it?
