Today I'm playing with the colors from the color challenge as well as yesterdays Try a New Technique - Swipe your Credit card!
I pressed Distress Oxides Peeled Paint, Worn Lipstick and Fossilized Amber, over my craft mat, spritzed with water, dipped the edge of my gift card into the ink then dragged it across the card stock panel as per Karen's instructions!
Love the look! I die cut the dandelion fluff and leaves out of white and layered them over the inked panel. I stamped the Martin Luther quote directly onto the panel and added a little bling with some pink rhinestones!
I'm making cards for a group at my church that sends 'thinking of you' cards to elderly members who cannot get out to church - so I think these will be very nice for that purpose!

These are so pretty, Julia! Your bgs look wonderful. I used to do the credit card bg years ago using acrylic paint. Love the idea of using water based inks.

Two beautiful cards, Julia. Love the lime green and pink that you used with Karen's technique....you did that technique SO WELL. The white die cuts and quotes were all that was needed to complete them.
