FS536 - featured stamper Donna3d
WT636 - hardware & metal
I started this card last night for this weeks' featured stamper Donna3d and was inspired by this wonderful card; Silver Butterfly by Donna3d at Splitcoaststampers
I was interrupted by sporadic light outages as we had more storms last night.
I was delighted to find today's ways to use it is hardware & metal, so I add the square brads & metal wire antenna for the popped up butterfly.
I love Donna's layout & butterfly theme.
I moved the strip panel to the middle, added 2 gold diecut outlines of butterflies, have a gold foil layer under the black floral DP and gold polkadot on black cardbase DP. The square brads mimic the square outline of top & bottom butterflies.
I haven't decided what I'll use this card for, so the inside sentiment is pending.
Enjoy your week Donna and thanks Sabrina for the challenge!

Beautiful card! I love how you captured the shine in your photo. That's not an easy thing to do! Your flittering butterflies look great against the DP background!

This is beautiful!! That tiny floral print is like the dresses my mother used to make for my sister and me. The outline butterflies are so lovely, and I really like wire for antennae, I'm just usually too lazy to pull it out. The little green brads accent it perfectly.

Is that two different butterfly dies in the squares? Those are really neat and your used very pretty papers!!

I agree with Sabrina on the tiny print bringing a nostalgic feeling to your card. I imagine my grandmother probably had an apron with a similar pattern. At any rate, this card gave me a "feel good" vibe, and I love the gold foil attachments.

Oh, Jeannie, this is gorgeous! I agree with Jo that this reminds me of Laura Ashley prints. And wow do I love the gold. It's absolutely stunning! Hugs!
