This card was a real labour of love, it took hours to do with the colouring of the flowers being the time consuming element but I'm really pleased with the result.
It's another card for the colour challenge using all five colours although Delightful Dijon was only used as a shading colour on the flowers.
I was inspired yet again by Jennifer McGuire, her tutorial can be found here; http://www.jennifermcguireink.com/2017/05/sk.html
My card is different of course, I have used a traditional method of creating the shaker placing the tulle over the aperture attaching the tulle with double sided tape then placing the sequins in the centre. I cut a piece of craft foam slightly smaller than the front panel then cut a circle in the foam that was inline with the aperture and glued this to the front panel finally gluing the whole lot to the base card.
The flowers were coloured by first stamping the images with super fine white embossing powder on the watercolour paper then moistening each petal and colouring them with the SU reinkers and water using a round #4 sable brush and an aqua brush.
I also clear heat embossed the greeting for more definition.
The die creating the aperture was cut then reset into the front panel so that it was flush with the front panel.
I hope this has inspired you, I'm dieing to try the colouring method Jennifer highlighted in her tutorial.
That's all folk.
Cheers
Marg

Marg, this is GORGEOUS! I did see Jennifer's cards with the tulle, and I love the idea and how much less bulky it is. Your flower is exquisitely colored and so worth all the time and effort. What a stunning card! Hugs!

Fabulous! Love the gorgeous flowers, so beautifully colored. The stenciling is wonderful and I like how it fades out along the edges. Lovely die-cut circle. Creative take on a shaker card. Well done! Terrific job using all the retiring colors. A fantastic send off for them. TFS
