LOVE this technique - I was inspired to try this by both this TLC and yesterday's inspiration challenge. I did also have a no line coloring fail, which I will post as soon as I decide what type of sentiment to add. Anyway, here are a few notes about this card:
- I stamped the image in Crumb Cake, then watercolored the seagulls and shadows with Smoky Slate, the sky I colored with Soft Sky, and the water with Baja Breeze. Finally, I colored the sand with Crumb Cake
- To get the frame around the main image, I traced the outer edge of the framelit I used to diecut the image, and then cut it out
- The knot is a type of sailor's knot... here's a link to a tutorial (http://www.free-macrame-patterns.com/sailors-knot.html), although you can also search YouTube for a video tutorial
- You can't really tell in the picture, but the Baja Breeze layer is popped up on pop dots
Thanks for looking!!

Late is fine by me - especially with a gorgeous beach scene like this, I love it! Great take on the no line colouring, it really is like a little watercolour painting!
