I also wanted to do a page in my Bible. I'll have to check with my Dad, but I remember once when someone asked Mom about a favorite passage she said a Psalm that was close to the 23rd but not. I remember thinking how typical that was of Mom to not go with everybody else's favorite but find an "underdog" to love. Anyway, in Psalm 22 there is the line, "On you was I cast from my birth, and from my mother's womb you have been my God." Mom taught us all to love the Lord and led by wonderful example. I used a narrow piece of Washi to mask over the verse (I put the piece onto and off my jeans a couple of times to remove some of the sticky) and watercolored my flowers freehand. I then used Broken China smooshed onto an acrylic block and misted with water to do the color wash bg. I tore the vellum quote and glued it as a Tip In.

What a great tribute to your Mom and super BAJ page - I love your flowers and the watercoloring!!! I am going to go do one of my cards as a BAJ too. Love this!!! Hugz
