To honor our Featured Stamper today, I didn't get very far into "JustCallMeNana's" gallery before I had to stop and actually go make a card! Gorgeous work in Lynda's gallery.
I selected Wishing Happy Birthday by JustCallMeNana at Splitcoaststampers Wishing Happy Birthday card to case.[/url]
When I went to my stamps I came out with quite a twist on her original, hoping she still feels honored with my outcome.
So, my flowers are larger and wanted to be rectangles. I used the cut out portion of the cs from the largest flower as my mask and sponged London Fog in the center and graduated out with Old Paper and Peeled Paint. My flowers are also water-colored using pencils. I used a soft, subtle color scheme compared to Lynda's cheery brights. Popped up the 3 panels and added some drops of Journey Glaze to the flowers and sequins to the card base.

Beautifully inspired. Love the flowers. They are framed so nicely with the sponging underneath. I like the variance of colors with your sponging, too. The sequins and dew drops are terrific accents. Lovely birthday card. TFS

The first thing I noticed was your tiny dew drops on the flowers - amazing how such a small thing can make a big impact. Your flowers are beautifully colored.
