For the MIX today I went with the showers, not flowers. It's raining now, and we are to get heavy rain later, and rain tomorrow, and most of next week. I would guess by now our drought is over!!
I began by embossing the raindrops and a die cut as a stencil with Blue Crystalline ep. I sponged the gray over the panel, wiping off the excess. I added the sentiment, then die cut and popped up the frogs.
This card will go next week to a friend who had shoulder replacement surgery. Thanks for looking.

I always love seeing what you do with that die, Anne. This made me think of, wasn't there a ballet with Jeremy Fisher from the Beatrix Potter books? Great soft, watery colours.

Love how the little frogs are enjoying the rain puddles. At least someone is enjoying al this rain. I am waiting for my basement to dry from the rain we had. Thanks for playing along with my challenge. I am sure that your friend will love this card.

If this rain keeps up I will have frogs coming in the drains! :-) I love the way your background looks so 'wet'! Those leaping frogs are a delight! (I absolutely love the spring peepers and their calls at night - this reminds me of that!)

I just started hearing our frogs out back, our house backs up to a protected Wetlands area so we get various critters. These things are LOUD but it's a cool sound too. Love your card, it is bound to cheer someone that needs a lift.

LOVE this! What a cool design with a fun sentiment for a get well card! I'm off right now to an outdoor (under a pavilion) birthday party. Happy spring!
