hi there,
Today's IC is called 'Healing Words'; use a phrase or sentiment that offers encouragement or healing.
I chose this sentiment because I truly believe in finding something good in each day to be grateful for. I believe that finding the positive in life can truly heal the soul and it is important especially now when we live in a world with so much negative happening.
Anyways, I will get off my soapbox and tell you about my card.
I masked the edges, heat embossed the white leaves and stamped the bkg with my Misti and repeat stamping. I sponged it, splattered with white paint then removed the tape.
thanks for looking and I hope you find something to 'delight' in today. http://snippets-karen.blogspot.ca/20...s-of-time

I think there are many on your soapbox with you, Karen(including me). : ) Your card is beautiful and ethereal looking with the muted shade of aqua with the white. Love your technique....and the result it gave. Have a lovely week-end, mf

Such true words to pair with this stunning nature inspired card. I completely agree with finding something positive in each day, especially in such a disheartening time ~ we need all the positive thoughts and love we can find. I've saved this beautiful creation to my favorites.
