I made this for Ky's Twisted Black Magic Mix-ability Challenge, today. It is also my submission for the Fan Club Background Challenge. I sponged Island Indigo, rich razzleberry, and Baja Breeze on some whisper white. Then I stamped the feathers in VersaMark and then embossed with clear embossing powder. Then I sponged on Night of Navy all over it, before wiping off the ink. So the feathers show through in pretty colors. I think I love this technique! I die cut Happy birthday in white and then baja breeze and stacked them for some dimension. It needed something so I put the enamel dot on the card. Thank you KY!
Thanks for looking.

I think feathers are so perfect for this challenge - several of my fails with this technique over the years have featured them because I was so sure they'd look good. I love the night sky look of your background.
