I went with a fancy "T" of TIME. I also used a "tea stain" look with the warm brown, but I did not use real tea to do it(TH ink)...no cookies for me. : )

Fabulous clock face, Sallie, and the colouring reminds me of those old brass clock faces and all the gilding on them.
That sentiment is such a positive one! I remember when I was about 9 or 10 my half-brother wrote in my autograph book "Time is money", which is a rather different, more mercenary, expression of the value of time - and my mother so disapproved of it that she made him cross it out. And I was upset because that spoiled the look of my precious book!
