Sabrina invited us to use the cling wrap technique, I had already a left over in which I die cut the butterflies, but I made the background this morning, I sprayed water on the cling wrap and sprayed some dye inks and finished by acrylique yellow paint, I used a brush to mix it a bit, and then added the watercolor paper pressed it gently and brought it outside in the warm sun to dry quickly, it took 3 hours to dry...then I stamped the bicycle and colored a bit with a marker and stamped the sentiment, and glued the butterflies.
Thanks for this challenge I didn't know this technique before I saw lydia's tutorial

The textures in that green are just beautiful; this makes me think of a warm, sunny Spring day. The little dog in the basket is so cute! And those butterflies are very elegant and a locket contrast with the green.
Wonderful creation! You did a great job with the technique, and your bycycle looks like it it is in some tall grasses. Your butterflies are a great addition. I guess I better get started on mine if it takes three hours to dry!

Gorgeous! I love the colors you used. Those butterflies really pop against the green. You all are really making me want to try this technique again and maybe get it right this time.

I love this card, and the image with the bike and dog stamped on it are wonderful!

I should have thought to take my background out into the sun to dry! Mine took 5 hours and it still wasn't completely dry when I removed the cling wrap!
I really love the colors in your background and the pretty shape of the butterflies you added. Great touch to stamp the bicycle at bottom of your card!
