I really loved her layout and use of DSP, so I kept both of those. I changed the colors, positioned my sentiment on the left, rather than centered and changed out her flower embellishment with a cute little MFT piggie.
The DSP is from my stash - I am almost out of it and so sad about that because I think it is just beautiful. I wish I had purchased more sheets at the time.
To properly position my sentiment, I die cut the flag (the piggie hides the tails) and then inlaid it back into the cardstock and put both into my MISTI. This let me use the magnets but still get the sentiment posistioned the way I wanted it. Stamped in Versamark and white embossed.
Stamped, die cut and colored my piggie. Added Wink of Stella on the heart and (though you can't see well in the pic) used a while gel pen for some freckles. Enhanced the eyes with a Copic Multiliner.
Die cut 2 blanks to provide dimension.
Assembled my card base and DSP panel first. Determined how much of my sentiment was going to be off the DSP panel and made a small spacer for under that part to keep it level the whole way across.
Used pop-dots under the right side of the piggie for the same reason - glossy accents under the left side.
Finished things off with a dot of glossy accents on the eyes and covering his snout.
Thanks, Amy, for the inspiration!

Oh, my gosh, Debbie, how did you manage to make a card that is elegant, lovely, AND adorable all at the same time????? LOVE this, and done with such meticulous execution as always - jumped into my faves!
