This is using today's pretty color combination and I've gone for a vintage look. I prepped my page using clear Gesso as I had a thick coat of Gelatos on the backside page. I used Crumb Cake to stamp the Hardwood bg (thinking of God's telling Noah in Genesis Chapter 6 that I'm journaling to build an ark). I curved my poly blooms on my acrylic block and inked them with the Ombre pad so that the centers were lighter than the edges. I stamped this around the 3 edges. I used a Red marker to ink up only part of my sentiment and stamped Grace first. I then used my alphabet blocks to stamp the rest in black. I carefully used my ink pad to ink only the flourish of a Scripture stamp and stamped in Bermuda under the words. I used a blending tool to add Crumb Cake to the edges and a very light bit of black at the very edge. I stamped some spatter and also used my Bermuda pad pressed onto an acrylic block to grab some more blue tones with a wet paintbrush to add more blue. My pastor DH preached on this a while back as he did a series that traces the redemptive plan of God all through the Bible and he reminded us that Noah's righteousness was by God's grace too! How good of God to always reach down to us....Noah wasn't seeking to be saved....didn't even know he needed saving....it was God's initiative as always to reach out to Noah by His grace!
