For this week's pressed flower technique challenge. I used some very dark, small blossoms and seed pods from my akebia vine. Of course, their print was very juicy (recent rains) and not at all the rich, deep purple I was anticipating... I didn't use the seed pod prints. You can see a sample in front. Running them through the cuttlebug left an embossed texture. Can you see? The blooms were flat. I stamped the flower and the tag/sentiment, but just sponged the edges of the horizontal strip.
I used last week's sketch for the layout.

Fabulous with both the sketch and the technique! What an interesting, subtle pattern the flower pressing made. Love the stamping with it. The tag is awesome. The textured paper is terrific for the background. Very well done! TFS
