The Kelly's hosted the Monday challenges - Kellyjg asked for pounded/pressed flowers for our TLC & KellyJo asked that we raise something up for the CAS. I combined challenges.
My daffs are about done, so I went with some wild violets that are growing in my beds. I also snipped some leaves but they didn't show too well. I wet a piece of w/c paper & using the CB I pressed the violets. They are a little blue & I like how the petals show. I also thought an acetate butterfly would look nice. For some reason my w/c paper doesn't look very white. The flower panel is raised on craft foam & the banner is on popdots.
This was fun to do & will go to my BFF from nursing school ... a 48 year friendship!
Thanks for stopping by.

This is really pretty for both challenges - I was surprised to see you wet your wc paper - I always leave mine dry since the flower petals themselves tend to put out plenty of moisture as they are pounded or pressed. The acetate butterfly is nice with your subtle flower image.
