Beautiful colors today, Roberta, and thank you for making me get out on of my many, underappreciated embossing folders!
This card took me forever! But it was worth it. I love it and I'm going to be really sad to part with it some day.
I was thinking I needed some graduation cards for my stash and I wanted to sit this cute little girl on the stack of books and put a quote from "Oh, the Places You'll Go!" by Dr. Seuss inside. I used "Oh, the places you'll go. Today is your day! Your mountain is waiting, so...get on your way!" I printed out my digi, colored and fussy cut. Then found some cardstock that was pretty close to the colors and cut some little hills. I never think to get out my embossing folders, so I was glad for dessert. It added some interest to my rolling hills. Then I went looking for a good DP with the right colors and (OMG!) isn't this one perfect for my graduation/the places you'll go/books theme! This is exactly why you need a stash of more paper than you'll ever actually use! I stamped the "We are proud of you" and did my new favorite diy gingham to give it some interest and punched it out. Then I popped it up in front of the little messy bow.

This is So Adorable, Jen! I love it too (I also think that way for some of the cards I create)! Beautiful job with coloring and cutting this out too, but it was worth it! I agree about the dp you used...and so glad you gave some love to an ef today~

That's what often happens when I make a card, I think oh no this is too pretty to send and I make another one...your card is so pretty, I understand you'll be sad to send it but imagine the face of the one who'll receive this beauty...in each card you create you put a bit of your soul!!
