This is another attempt at this week's CC using misc ink squares. I got this stamp set last year at the Stamp Expo and hadn't used it, but love it. I just got back from a week of amazing desert hiking in spectacular Red Rock country and was inspired to create a scene. My inspiration came from a card I found in the southwest gallery: It's a DRY Heat... by orangegymnut at Splitcoaststampers
I used the colors to create a desert sunset. I used the SU watercolor crayons to color the cactus scene. Added a bit of red to color the red rocks. The horse stamp with this set is beautifully detailed and I used the plum paper as the background shadow and then mounted the horses using dimensionals. Hoping this meets the intended criteria for the MIX219 challenge.

BEAUTIFUL. You so captured those beautiful violet shades one sees at sunset in the West. Your stamped image is a wonderful one and you transformed it into a spectacular card.
