Sabrina has challenged us to try the Black Magic Technique. Being pretty new to stamping, I've never seen it before. And I love it! I was sure it wasn't going to come out very well, considering I don't have colored pencils. I used Crayola Twistables. They're kind of like a mechanical colored pencil and there's only about 16 colors.
I've combined this with Lee's APRIL VSN Challenge. So I've made an ANNIVERSARY card with PURPLE flowers and RHINESTONES that are IRIDESCENT, and also the word LOVE stamped on the front. Fun and tough challenge, Lee!

Sorry I didn't see this earlier! If I get notification for a post on the thread I'll check it out ASAP, but coming back and checking the gallery waits till I have a little free time. I'm glad I found that time tonight - that is such a beautiful use of Inspired by Nature - you make me want to get it out and try using it myself for this technique. The bling, doodled border and great decorative "Love" all add up to make a wonderful card. I'm glad you enjoyed the technique - and that you had enough Twistables (I think they're great!) to create. I feel like that about my very small collection of Sharpies when it comes to any technique calling for alcohol markers, so I feel with you. But with results like this - you know you can use the technique again with no worries.
