This is for the Featured Stamper Challenge for Anita. She has an amazing gallery filled with the most gorgeous 3-D flowers. It was very inspiring for Dawn’s No Stamping VSN challenge – no stamps. I selected this gorgeous card from Anita’s gallery: Dainty Daisies by anitak160 at Splitcoaststampers
I loved this pretty, feminine, springtime card. She used beautiful die-cut flowers and leaves. To make my daisies (prep work), I punched two sizes of the scalloped circles and cut between each scallop almost to the middle to make the petals. Then I lightly sponged the middle before layering. My card quickly took on a more country look. The paper reminded me of some quilt squares in my grandmotherÂ’s farm house. I loved the fresh daisies that grew there. I sponged the doily to give it the aged look. The paper was distressed and edges sponged like Anita does. IÂ’m sure to visit AnitaÂ’s gallery again soon. Fun challenges. Goes to show that stamping is not always necessary on cards; there are so many choices with paper crafting. TFL

Love your daisies! They are one of my favourite field flowers. Thanks for the tip on using scalloped circles to make them. I don't have any large flower dies. Your bright button centres look fabulous! This is a sweet card!
