Sabrina challenged us to the black magic technique - stamping on black card stock.
Following the tutorial she provided, I stamped image with white ink, colored with pencils, added highlights with white gel pen in the tall grass and water.
Masked & soonged the light beam with white ink then added Wink of Stella and a few streaks with white gel pen. Continued to fill in the forefront with Wink is Stella, looks better IRL
The sentiment was printed on silver shimmer paper and cut from oval die. Added a black oval behind for dimension.
Finished with anchor washi tape and 2 fernleaf die cuts.
Inside the card says: 'and may the love in your heart keep you strong.'
To my surprise, coloring on black CS was easy and shows up nicely!
This card will go to our dear friend who had a brain tumor removed and will begin radiation treatments next week.
EDIT: it's a dreary rainy day here today and there appears to be a yellow cast due to lighting, causing the black CS to look brownish in color.

What an inspired choice of image, Jeannie. It's a wonderful way of letting the lighthouse really shine - and those banked clouds on the horizon are really beautiful too.
