When I first saw the inspiration photo, I was struck by the play of pattern on a bunch of miniature lamp shades. I didn't really know where to go with the inspiration until I began noticing all of the alternative projects made with the February Paper Pumpkin kit. The colorful designs on the DSP seemed to fit with the monthly theme of "Shades of Spring" and the patterns on the lamp shades.
I used the DSP as the backdrop for both of the cards and then added the stamped images from the Swirly Bird and Many Happy Birthdays (MPP) sets. I thought these cards would be great for a few kids I know.

Fabulous cards. Love the images you used, love the designer paper and I loved you explaining the process of your cards. That's one of the best things the CreativeCrew has done: explain the process.
Thanks for sharing your great cards.
