Today's color challenge I used crushed olive, dusty concord, rusty hinge. Dessert is scalloped punched sides.
I stamped the pansy flower using versamark chalk ink (wheat) then watercolored and fussy cut.
I stamped the seed packet on a green colored DP that has faint brush marks in the paper. I aged it by sponging tea dye ink then glued the pansy.
I love this stamp set as it has 4 different flowers to include flower names along with the seed packet.
I die cut 2 oval shapes (in colors similar to the challenge) and used as a mat for the seed packet, angling the orange oval to show only a hint of color.
The vintage DP is from Nature Garden 6x6" paper pad.
I adhered the DP to a Kraft card base, scalloped punch the sides, then added the olive color CS on the inside of card. I didn't want to scallop all the way to the bottom, thinking it may not have enough stability, but I like it as it clearly reveals the vintage DP. I think the little fairies in the DP are adorable.
Thanks Mary for the colors!!
