I die cut the hollyhocks from a piece of color burst BG paper I'd made, using Ken Oliver powders. The BG for the flowers is a smooshed watercolor panel made with distress inks, ripe persimmon and forest moss. I cut the piece with a stitched rectangle die, attached the flowers and stamped the sentiment on a piece of the BG, using Papertrey's royal velvet ink. These remind me of some hollyhocks I saw a few years ago, when visiting Sitka, Alaska.

I don't know what I'm doing wrong when I try to smoosh colours, but I never get anything I like....that's why I always frame my cards. This is absolutely gorgeous....I LOVE the way your background came out!

...sure its got a catchy beat, but can you stamp to it?
life is something that happens only when you run out of cardstock
