Mary is our hostess this week and she has chosen Rich Razzleberry, Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie and for dessert: anything goes. This also fits our MIX217 challenge of Words of Wisdom.
I chose to add kraft as my neutral. In order for my ink to show up on the kraft cs, I stamped in white kraft ink first and then the chosen colors. (I didn’t try to line the stamps up too exactly because I liked the look of the white showing up as a border of sorts.) The colors look quite muted but I promise – they are the actual challenge colors! Also, I masked the flowers when I stamped the leaves. I embossed the stamen in clear ep after stamping in black, and then embossed the sentiment in white, splattered with white acrylic paint, and sponged some more white kraft ink around the edges. I thought it needed just something extra so I added a white frame in white gel pen. This panel was popped up with dimensionals before attaching to the card front.

Ooh, I like the white shadow stamping effect beneath the color! This worked wonderfully on the kraft. While the colors may be muted, I like the effect. Lovely card, Maura!

Your use of white is inspiring on this card! Love the way you stamped the white first, Maura and then splattered the card with white and gave a white border. Wonderfully thought out details!
