DD7ABC3X: the letter is X and the double challenge is to make it X-mas. I paper pierced white cs and then made up my candy cane cross stitch. I didn't make it small enough to fit in the hoop stamp from Hoop La La so cut a frame from glimmer paper to resemble a hoop. Stamped and cut the top off the hoop and attached. I popped up the cross stitch, hoop, and sentiment. I fussy cut the stamped needle and thread.
I know red and green are cliche Christmas colors but I really like it for supporting the candy cane cross stitch.
Thanks for looking!

Gasp! Jaw drop! Wow Catherine! I am nearly speechless (and that rarely happens to me!). This card is stunning my friend- and how clever and creative this is too! I was shocked when I read that you paper pierced this and made up your own crossstitch pattern. Not in a million years would I be able to pull this off, and you did it brilliantly- and beautifully. I love red and green and do not consider these to be cliche at all- and they do support your image so beautifully! This is going right into my favs so I can admire it from time to time my friend. Hugs! ~Karen.
