Love the sketch for the CCrew Shades of Spring challenge! I usually don't make cards with anything on an angle, so this pushed me to try something different..and it works.
Here are the layer measurements:
-The finished size of the embossed layer is 5x3-3/4 inches. However, I started with a piece a little larger and then trimmed it down after embossing. Using embossing folders, especially ones with this much detail, can shrink the paper a little in one direction. Trimming after embossing results in more even borders when you later it onto the card base.
-The DSP layer measures 4x2-3/4 inches.
-For the greeting, I started with a piece of Very Vanilla that was 1 inch by about 6 inches long. I punched it first so I'd know where to place the words. Then I used my MISTI to stamp the words twice to get a nice dark color.
TFL!
