I have a goal to try to do the Inspiration Challenge for each week in 2017, but since I made the goal recently, I decided to go backwards to the beginning of 2017 as well as keep up going forward! I had been going through the Featured Stampers' galleries and tagging my favorites to get back to, but the Free For All Friday challenge this week was a good motivator
to get in there and start making some cards, and I got through all of January's Featured Stampers!
The FS from the week of January 22 was ruby-dooby-doo. Congratulations, Lynne! Love your name and love that cute little Westie in your profile pic!
I started with a plain white card because I love the way Lynne's (it's really hard not to call you Ruby!) card uses white space with the collage work mostly in the one corner. I wanted to make a spring card so I stamped tulips in the center of a doily and colored them with Ohuhu alcohol markers, which I'm still getting the hang of! I used a very fine point Sharpie in black to draw stitches around the edge of the doily and the edge of the card. Dug into my scrap box for some smaller bits of spring-y paper, trimmed them and glued down. I attached the doily using pop dots, and added three tiny bling rhinestones along the bottom edge. I stamped the sentiment in the upper right corner to finish it off.
Congrats again, Lynne! I hope you had a great week as Featured Stamper!
TFL!
