Friday's Free For All was to visit your Favorites and CASE a card there. MAny of my Favorites are cards I like when looking through the week's Featured Stamper gallery, and I have a goal to do as many of this year's FS's as I can. So I have a backlog to the beginning of the year and used this challenge as an excellent opportunity to do so
E catching up.
I started with this past week's Featured Stamper,DJ Rants. I CASEd her shell card (Birthday Shell by DJRants at Splitcoaststampers. I am so drawn to combinations of blue and orange. I started with a kraft card and added layers of light blue and floral orange paper. I stamped the PSX nautilus shell in sienna ink and sponged lightly with blue and orange ink and cut out. I border punched a scrap of the light blue paper and layered with some recycled brotwn textured paper (I think it was packing material) then added the shell and attached it all to the card. Finally I stamped the sentiment on a scrap of white paper and layered onto the light blue, and attached it with foam tape.
Congrats to DJ for being the Featured Stamper, and TFL!

A very pretty case of your chosen card. I love shells! You are sure to have a lot of fun caseing this year's FS cards. That's a good goal.

What a wonderful goal for the year and a beautiful start to fulfilling it! Love your shell card! The texture and colour of the bit of packing works really well as 'sand' for your shell. Great card!
