| | The basics of this card: used a Darice Basket Weave embossing folder on the background paper. Then I took a piece of Stampin Up's cardstock weight velum and heat embossed the rose from the SU Birthday Blooms stamp set onto it. When it cooled I took my clear Wink of Stella pen and colored in the petals and leaves to give them a shimmery look. When that had dried a bit I flipped it over and chalked a little pink and green to give it color.
I cut out the whole piece with a Spellbinder label die. Added a ribbon and the tiny sentiment which was white embossed onto green cardstock and punched out with a SU small oval punch.
This was a technique I had only tried once before. It's not very elaborate, but I posted it anyways!
