This is my card for Cathy's Puppy Love WTUI challenge this week - you'll find out all about it [HERE.
I stamped my dog and masked him, then sponged in the grass using the negative of a die-cut, and the clouds using a scalloped oval.
The bowl of dog food is popped up on foam.
I stamped the cake on a scrap of card, masking off the base of the cakestand, and cut it with the bubble die, drew in the circles. Dog, cake and food dish all coloured with Polychromos pencils. I sponged some white card with red ink to get a matting layer and added it to a brown base. I like the hopeful look in his eyes, and I couldn't help thinking of some of the Snoopy strips when he hopes for something other than dog food.

I love this card, Sabrina! My dog comes to my chair and sits at my feet after he eats his dinner every evening with this same look on his face. He has me trained very well. He is thinking "cookie" and he usually gets one!

Fabulous card, Sabrina! Love how you masked and sponged the grass and the expression on the dog's face is priceless! I would much rather be eating cake as well!

I love how you added the grass, I am going to have to try that for sure! Thanks for the tip. These TH pups are super fun and I always love seeing how people use them. They have great expressions and this one with the cake is just super fun.
