I am using the color challenge colors (as close to the colors as I could with paints)and the TLC technique of Baby Wipe Watercolor. I found it much easier to letter over the lighter paint than smeared acrylic paint. I am not super fond of my drawings but it's about the praise not the performance. I used my fine point black Sharpie for the verse (Proverbs 27:9 in the NIV) and some colored pencils to fill in the perfume bottle and incense burner. I took my youngest to Indianapolis last weekend for the Senior State Swim Meet and stayed with friends, the kind of friends that you can not see for months but pick right up with when you get together. I really appreciate their godly perspective and listening ears. They are a great support and encouragement to this pastor's wife who sometimes struggles with lonliness.

This is wonderful..I like that you were able to combine the baby wipe technique with your color challenge. I think your drawings are great and I know just what you mean about friends that you haven't seen in a while but you can pick up where you left off....it feels good to be with friends like that
