This was my first attempt at MariLynn's technique for the MIX challenge. It's much fainter, even after drying time, and I thought I'd laid on a really good layer of ink. You can just about see a sort of diamond pattern if you look.
So, I stamped the grass on it, then the sentiment which is embossed with clear EP. Stencilled the sun rays in, and stamped some little swirls and circles from an old set called Dragonfly Dreams, not the current SU set. The dragonfly is SU, though - cut solid from black card which was buffed with luster rub-ons, and then a second open cut with glimmer paper. I edged the whole thing with a white gel pen.

Really muted and beautiful, Sabrina. I love the stamping, and that dragonfly is gorgeous!!!

Your card turned out so pretty Sabrina!! I think this technique is harder than Loll's tutorial makes it look. I like the scene with the grasses and the dragonfly that you have created!!

Gorgeous! I think the subtly of your print is actually the sunlight coming through the grass...it can be kind of muted. That purple dragonfly is beautiful and I really like the sentiment and of course the white doodling around the edge is perfect ;)

Wow Sabrina, this looks magical. The subtle patterns in the bg are just amazing. It looks like mist in the air. The dragonfly is so beautiful. What a gorgeous creation.

I like the subtle look of the ghosting on this, Sabrina - mine is pretty subtle, too. I did try the technique again on watercolour paper and achieved a better result, put aside for another card!! Your cards always have SO much interest to them - love this beautiful dragonfly, too!!
