This card is for today's sketch challenge and Monday's Technique Lover's Challenge. It is also one of the daily treatment card for my DH. He is experience some discomfort from flatulence (one of the side effects for his treatment) I thought a visual and verbal reference to wind would be funny. Inside greeting is:
Any journey may require that you steer into the wind. Stay the course, come safely home.
I have had this image forever and found it in my masculine box. It uses a discontinued product called Radiant Pearls which creates beautiful blended colors, but took eons to dry. I used the direct to paper technique on the blue card. I swiped a white craft pad over the card.

Excellent use of the sketch! Love the background with the white ink swipes. Love your coloring around the ship. The ship image is from the SU! Schooner set. Love your sense of humor for your DH, poor guy. It can be embarrassing to break wind even if there's a reason. Terrific card. TFS

Kathy, this is a wonderful nautical card for your DH! I love that you incorporated the DTP technique using a white craft pad. You did a great job responding to the challenge. Blessings to your DH!
