This is my sample for Carla's "The Eyes Have It!" WTUI challenge, which you can find HERE.
I stamped my bird on an old dictionary page and coloured him with gelatos.
I also used gelatos on the layer behind, afterwards it occurred to me that red and green might have been a more appropriate colour choice, like those tests you have to do at the optician/optometrist. But I'd already done the whole thing, including washi tape borders, twice and wasn't about to go a third time.
The sentiment is from Hero Arts, I added Glossy Accents and a little thread tucked under the bird's wing. His glasses are cut from a tomato puree tube and are also filled with Glossy Accents.
SU die-cut for the word bubble and my own writing because I didn't have time to mess around getting the computer to print something the right size.
Oh, the background was first of all gelatos rubbed on the IO Gradation stamp, misted and stamped on card. When it was dry I stamped the script over it.

Love your card, very creative. Who else would think to use a tomato purée tube to make tiny glasses, love the sting and balloon, and your gelato background. Great card, Sabrina.
