Time wasn't on my side but I was determined to play along with the Feb Challenges and get something done. I had a full day of fun!
This LO is to cover 3 of the VSBN challenges as they all involved, sand, waves, sky, sea and LOVE. Its amazing what you can create when you have the clock running against you
I used several simple techniques.....tearing, die cutting, stencilling, stamping and embossing, and ensured I covered "LOVE" with my stash busters. I doodled the journalling around the photos...something I usually don't do as I make a mess of it but it came out ok, even though my OCD side had to put some arrows on top of where my doodling was a bit off
A lot of items on this layout have been sitting in my stash for years so it was good to finally get them out. I'm also trying to use stamps and dies with my scrapbooking so I don't feel too guilty buying them
Thanks for taking time to look at my LO. Happy day.

Great use of stash and challenges to create this wonderful LO. It is great that you are using so many techniques, too. I get stuck in a ret and do the same things over and over on my pages. Thank you for your inspiration! Thank you for playing February's VSBN challenges!

Great job on the challenges and great use of your stash. The sand mound centers the layout so perfectly it doesn't even look like a double page spread. The simplest techniques are still sometimes the best to highlight the pictures. I also agree with your comment on stamps in scrapbooking. They go so well here without the guilt!

We are having the best summer here Jayne, your fabulous layout reminds me how lucky we are. I love how you used dp for the sand. I can't scrapbook to save my life, I am in awe of your fabulous talent.
