Tricia has challenged us to think spring as hostess of her first CAS challenge. Thanks, for a fun challenge, Tricia!
I'm not having any trouble thinking spring after the beautiful warm weather we had here on Friday and Saturday. What I am having a hard time with is accepting that it's still winter and we're a long ways away from that beautiful weather sticking. Oh well, I can look forward to my daffodils blooming (I did see them starting to pop up this weekend!). In my opinion, when the daffodils are blooming that's when you know it's spring.
I stamped my flowers in Memento Dandelion and Pear Tart ink and then used my Spectrum Noirs to try to do kind of a faux watercolor look. Touched up a few little spots with white gel pen. Then I lightly sponged some yellow in the BG and just mounted it on some light yellow romantic patterned paper. Simple and CAS!

I was thinking daffodils this morning too, but then went with tulips. Your card is so pretty. I like not only the two daffodils, but the light or sun that is around them.

Very pretty card with daffodils which are one of the early signs of spring coming. Mine are blooming already. (as to "messing up", remember we are working with PAPER, not Carrera marble or diamonds...paper is relatively cheap.....play away! ) : )
