On her card, I like the image on a white panel and the sentiment on the colored layer. Usually I don't color directly with markers because it turns out so bright and I always smear the ink. Karen's cards inspired me to give it another try. It was sure fast & easy to use the markers directly on the paper. However, history repeated itself and I smeared some Pumpkin Pie right at the end. I got out my trusted speckle stamp and added some speckles. Now I can't tell what is a smear or a speckle. There's most always a fix. I love that about paper crafting! From Karen's card: I changed the colors, matted the image in black, used narrower border and added rhinestone flower centers. Thanks Karen for sharing your cards and for inspiring our own! Thank you for looking.

Oh you went back to a long time ago! WOW! Never would've suspected a 'smear' with you using IBBG. My thought was you matched the speckles in the sentiment - really cool idea!! (I'm going to remember that too) I really like your version of my card.
Thank you for your kind comments and for taking time to case one of my early cards!

Beautiful case! I giggled about the smear comment....I have the same issue, especially with red markers! Just when you think you have it made, here comes a smear! lol!

Your card turned out so pretty! I really like the blue for the bg color of your flowers....the black speckles look Terrific, especially the few right on the flowers! Beautiful card! Sometimes I get ink on my knuckles and it ruins the card. That's when I say, "Ugh!"
