This started out to be a card for the S2S17H challenge, to stamp our own dp. This great challenge was posted by Kathy (muscrat).I didn't get around to doing this challenge until after the colour challenge was posted, so I used those colour, which is a very lovely colour combo. I rubbed the two stamp pads onto my plastic mat and spritzed it with water, and applied the floral medallion stamp to the colour and then stamped the paper. I repeated this process over and over. Then I cut the paper to size and ink distressed the edges. Turns out there was still some olive green on my dauber, so it turned out sort of muddy around the edges. I layered a couple of die cuts and stamped a queen Anne's Lace fro SU Garden Silhouettes on the top square. Added a die cut sentiment and dragonfly with some stickles and a few little gems.

This is really lovely Ina! I love this wonderful background you created that perfectly showcases your silhouette flower image and decorative panels. The dragonfly and sprinkling of gems are the perfect finishing touches on this wonderful card Ina! Hugs! ~Karen.

Gorgeous!! Wonderful use of the colors. Love the beautiful background. Thanks for describing how you made your own DSP. Love the die-cuts. The sparkly wings on the dragonfly are awesome. Well done! We used the same stamp set for this challenge with very different results. I love that about paper crafting. TFS
