It has been awhile since I have had time to finish a card. This is for the WT challenge to use a fav stamp, and for the F4A challenge for something in the garden. The tree is not the fav stamp...the star border is. I colored tge tree awhile ago with sharpies and it was even a little too bright for me. I colored the bg with black sharpie to tone it down....warning, make sure you have more patience than a fruit fly if you are going to color the entire bg in. I masked the tree and used white ep to heat emboss the stars, and I added a few extra white dots with white acrylic paint. I like to sound like that was part of the plan, but the truth is that heat embossing is way at the bottom of my skill set list and I had to cover up some blotches. TFL, Francie

Gorgeous. I admire your patience in colouring the background, I think I'd have opted for fussy-cutting the tree! White embossing is also something I admire but don't often do because it's quite far down in my skill set too. It certainly creates a magical midnight garden!! Thanks for letting me know Fred arrived, will reply later.

LOVE the tree, and no one would ever know you had an "oops" with your embossing. The black background makes everything pop, and the framing layers look terrific!

I've missed seeing your marvelous creations in the gallery, Francie! Beautiful contrasts with the black bg, bright colors and white embossed stars. I'm a big fan of your bright colors, love this!

Magic is in the air with this beauty. I love the white embossing for the swirl of stars and the black background makes it all pop. Fabulous card.

That starry border is pretty awesome! And your tree is wonderfully cheery even against a black bg (which had to have tested in your patience to color in..)...I like how it turned out. Happy to see you in the gallery...have been missing your creativity Francie
