Created for a challenge to make a "food" layout. I was inspired by an interview with Karen Grunberg to just sit down and do it, so I just let it happen. I had the idea to use some punched hexagons down the left side so I pulled out my latest pack of patterned paper hoping to use patterns from it. I did, in fact, use those papers but differently. I settled on the banner print for the top so no longer wanted hexagons. Instead I cut the Triangles die twice and blended the cuts for my side. I love the gray with the string of circles and looked for a way to incorporate some, settled on the two stripes. In a recent class on ways to journal I was reminded of the 6 word story and went with that, hand written. The flowers were die cut and created using a "moisturizing" technique a lady did on another scrapping site, attached with brads. I added stamped "yum"s and 3 gemstones.

This is making me hungry! Funny I've lived here (pensacola) for 3.5 years and I've never eaten there. I guess I will have to make it a point to stop by before we move. I love your collection of patterned papers on this layout. They go together quite well!
