Lisa brings us It's My Favorite for this week's Ways to Use It challenge. Pick my favorite stamp, oh my! That is a challenge, I love them all. I was quite surprised that I hadn't brought this sweet fairy to my SCS gallery yet. I've had her for years and made many cards featuring her. She's perfect as a cutaway and colors beautifully.
I stamped the fairy image, colored with alcohol markers and added shading and details with colored pencils and gel pens. Die cut the frames and grass/flower trim. Embossed trees for bg. Used chalk and Distress inks for sunrise. Fussy cut fairy image adhered to frame and popped up with dimensional tape. Finished with grass/flower die cuts and sentiment panel. Had fun playing with this old favorite!

OMGosh Carla...this is FANTASTIC! What gorgeous coloring and shading with your pencils...Love the Labels die-cut for the inset frame and edge for your little fairy to sit upon. The sunset with your birch tree forest embossing folder is gorgeous. Oh my...there isn't one little thing I do not love about this card. Bring it Friday to show off!

Carla I love your darling fairy. I can see why this is a favorite. I love the cut away giving the fairy the appearance of looking out in the forest. Super coloring of your fairy too. Thank you for making such a wonderful sample for my challenge and showing me your favorite stamp. I can see why you love it so much.

What a magical woodland setting you created for that great fairy, Carla! I love the dusky twilight colours in the wood, and the lovely layered meadow grass in the foreground.

Oh Carla, this is so beautifully done, my goodness, gorgeous my friend! The fairy is beautiful, the frame the die cut "greenery", the bg trees and color and the banner is wonderful as well. I just LOVE this and fairies are definitely one of my top picks too!!!
